Some 360 gallons (around 1,360 liters) of paint and primer were used to provide the iconic sign with it most extensive refurbishment in almost 35 years in advance of it’s 90th birthday next year. The freshly painted Hollywood Sign is seen after a press conference to announce the completion of the famous landmark’s major makeover, Decemin Hollywood, California. The evening concludes with an uninfused chocolate dessert offering of the nominee’s choice, with options including Cream & Crumble Remix (with sour cream tuile), Meyer lemon cremeux (with a white chocolate crust) and Maple & Pecan Remix (with maple crema, bacon and chocolate financier butter and pecan ice cream). The experience includes a tasting of Coda’s award-winning infused-chocolates at the certificate holder’s private residence, guided by dessert chef Lauren Gockley, the company’s director of edibles.
The lucky nominees will receive a certificate from Coda for a “one-of-a-kind Cannabis-infused chocolate culinary experience” worth US$10,000.
